Veterinarian

Dr. Amy graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing for 24 years. She loves getting to know her patients and their families. During her free time, Dr. Amy enjoys spending time with her family and fur children.

Dr. Adrienne Jacobson

Dr. Adrienne Jacobson

Veterinarian

Dr. Adrienne Jacobson has been working in the veterinary field for over 12 years. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University and has dedicated her career to improving the quality of life for her patients and clients.

She takes great pride in strengthening the human-animal bond and believes that compassionate, personalized care is at the heart of veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Jacobson enjoys traveling, croquet, cycling, and hiking. She also has a deep appreciation for music and loves attending the orchestra and theater.

Dr. Geri Mortenson

Dr. Geri Mortenson

Veterinarian

Dr. Geri Mortenson is a relief veterinarian with experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and general practice. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota and has worked in veterinary medicine for over a decade. Dr. Mortenson enjoys the variety that relief work provides and values building strong relationships with both clients and veterinary teams while helping clinics maintain continuity of care.

She is committed to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine while providing compassionate care to every patient. She strives to offer gold-standard recommendations whenever possible while partnering with pet owners to develop treatment plans that best meet the needs of their pets and families. Her background in emergency medicine has strengthened her ability to remain calm under pressure, and adapt quickly.

Outside of work, Dr. Mortenson enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, training her Golden Retrievers, gardening, and participating in deer tracking. She has a special interest in working and sporting dogs and enjoys learning about canine performance, conditioning, and field work. As co-owner of Golden Track Big Game Recovery, she works alongside her certified tracking dogs to help hunters recover wounded deer throughout Minnesota. Combining veterinary medicine with her passion for working dogs has become one of the most rewarding aspects of her life outside the clinic.

Amy Pearson

LVT, Practice Manager

Amy Pearson has been working in animal medicine for 14 years. She graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. When it comes to her practice, she prides herself on being able to communicate well with each client’s needs, as well as work well with each individual patient’s behaviors.

In her free time, Amy can be found spending time outdoors, with her family, or horseback riding.

Bethany Johansen

Bethany Johansen

Veterinary Assistant

Bethany has been working in the veterinary industry for the past few years and first developed her passion for animal care by shadowing her father, a veterinarian in Lindstrom. These early experiences helped spark her dedication to a career in veterinary medicine.

She is currently pursuing her biology degree at Bethel University, with the goal of attending veterinary school and eventually becoming a veterinary behaviorist. Bethany especially enjoys the opportunity to care for clients by caring for their pets and takes pride in helping both feel supported and comfortable during their visit.

At home, she stays busy with her own animal family, which includes two dogs, Tango and Winnie; a cat, Maxon; a bunny, Aspen; and 11 chickens!

Outside of work and school, Bethany enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her pets, as well as baking, paddleboarding, and skiing. She loves staying active and making the most of her time outdoors.

Kelly Patton

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Kelly has been working in veterinary medicine for 2 years. She is pursuing her Animal Technician Degree from Penn Foster. She prides herself on helping animals feel welcome and answering clients’ concerned questions.

In her free time, Kelly loves doing anything outdoors! She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and, of course, her beautiful dog, Bambi.

Kayla

Veterinary Assistant

Kayla started at Argosy University in 2018 to complete her Veterinary Technician degree, until it was shut down later that year. She then started at a veterinary clinic in 2020 as a veterinary technician, and worked there for 4 years before moving north with her fiancé. When not at work, Kayla enjoys reading, ATVing, and being out in the boat. She currently has a Rottweiler named Pudge, 2 cats named Jasmine and Pixie, and a menagerie of fish and reptiles.

LVT, Lead Technician

Amanda graduated from the Minnesota School of Business and became a certified technician over 17 years ago and has been working in the veterinary field ever since. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the cabin, and playing a variety of games. She currently has a mixed breed dog named Millie, a chihuahua named Hercules, and a cat named Ellie.

Mandi is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been in the veterinary field since 2017. She graduated from Argosy University in 2019 and became certified that summer after passing the VTNE.

She shares her home with three dogs—Brady, Lacey, and Dolly. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and being outdoors.
